Taubman celebrates holidays with ‘Peanuts Gang’ in 10 U.S. cities

Bloomfield Hills, Mich. -- Taubman will celebrate the launch of “The Peanuts Movie” with a family-friendly holiday experience being offered exclusively at 10 of its shopping centers across the U.S. from Nov. 6 through Dec. 24.



Developed in partnership with 20th Century Fox, the iconic Peanuts characters will take center stage within interactive Ice Palaces at each participating mall. The indoor holiday displays will feature a 30-ft. dome complete with falling snow and a light show. Visitors will also be able to watch special scenes from the new movie, create and compare their icy handprint alongside Snoopy and Woodstock, have their photo taken with a life-size graphic of Snoopy and his dog house and more.



“These lovable characters are synonymous with the holidays and what better way to bring them to life than through this memorable experience,” said Glenda Cole, vice president, marketing and sponsorship for Taubman.



Shopping centers will also offer the opportunity for families to visit with Santa Claus as part of the Ice Palace experience.



The 10 Taubman shopping centers to feature the exclusive Peanuts Ice Palaces, include: Cherry Creek Shopping Center in Denver, Colorado, Dolphin Mall in Miami, Florida, Fair Oaks Mall in Fairfax, Virginia, Great Lakes Crossing Outlets in Auburn Hills, Michigan, International Plaza in Tampa, Florida, The Mall at Short Hills in Short Hills, New Jersey, The Mall at University Town Center in Sarasota, Florida, Sunvalley Shopping Center in Concord, California, Twelve Oaks Mall in Novi, Michigan and Westfarms in Hartford, Connecticut.
