Sam’s Club opens in Rock Hill, S.C.

9/25/2013

Rock Hill, S.C. — Sam’s Club will open its new Rock Hill, S.C., club on Sep. 26. The grand opening will feature Greg Olsen, tight end for the Carolina Panthers, graffiti artist Reid Bramhall, face painting by Tony the Tiger and a book signing by TV chef and restaurateur Jami Deen.

The architecture of the new building employs a variety of environmentally friendly materials and energy-efficient fixtures, including daylight-harvesting skylights that reduce the energy required to light the store by up to 75% daily. LED lighting throughout the club, including in the cooler and freezer box doors and jewelry counter, operates 70% more efficiently than traditional fluorescent lighting.
