Modell’s to open 156th store

New York -- Modell’s Sporting Goods will open a store in midtown Manhattan, near Madison Square Garden, on April 4.



The store is the retailer’s 156th location.



Mitchell Modell, CEO of Modell’s Sporting Goods stated: “We’re very excited to add our 156th location, in Midtown Manhattan on 34th & 7th. When the opportunity first came about, we just knew we couldn’t pass it up! We love how its unique location at Penn Plaza one block north of The Garden connects convenience and passion for residents, commuters, tourists and fans of all ages.”
