Developers Diversified, Bed Bath & Beyond partner to open 8 stores in 2010

Beachwood, Ohio Developers Diversified Realty Corp. announced that Bed Bath & Beyond through its Christmas Tree Shops, buybuy Baby and Bed Bath & Beyond formats plans to open over 230,000 sq. ft. of retail space in Developers Diversified shopping centers in 2010.

This year, the company has opened three Bed Bath & Beyond stores at Marketplace at Millcreek in Buford, Ga.; Hamilton Marketplace in Hamilton, N.J.; and Oviedo Park Crossing in Oviedo, Fla.; with another scheduled to open later this year at Tanasbourne Town Center in Portland, Ore.

The company has opened one buybuy Baby location at Lake Brandon Village in Brandon, Fla., and has plans to open two additional locations at Columbiana Station in Columbia, S.C., and River Oaks Shopping Center in Valencia, Calif.

Bed Bath & Beyond has also opened a Christmas Tree Shops at Wrangleboro Consumer Square, in Mays Landing, N.J.
