Raymour & Flanigan is enhancing customer service with Oracle NetSuite technology.
A regional Northeast furniture and mattress retailer is eliminating manual enterprise processes with cloud-based automation.
Having started as a single, family-owned store in Syracuse, N.Y. in 1947, Raymour & Flanigan has grown to more than 140 retail locations and 7,000 employees. To manage its expanding operations and support continued growth, the retailer decided it needed to reduce manual processes and upgrade its technology systems.
As a result, Raymour & Flanigan is now deploying the Oracle NetSuite ERP solution. Leveraging NetSuite, Raymour & Flanigan intends to consolidate, automate, and scale its operations on a single cloud platform.
Specific workflows Raymour & Flanigan seeks to automate and streamline include financial processes, as well as inventory and customer service management. In addition, by integrating data from across different business functions, Raymour & Flanigan plans to provide retail associates with access to a 360-degree customer view, to enable timely and informed customer service.
“At Raymour & Flanigan, we believe our people are our greatest asset and when we began working with the NetSuite team, we felt an immediate connection to their core business values and company culture,” said Bryan Anastasi, VP of customer care and business solutions, Raymour & Flanigan. “NetSuite will help our associates do their jobs even more efficiently, which will enable them to spend more time building customer connections. We look forward to having NetSuite as a partner in our future growth journey.”
“As a third-generation family-owned business with a strong growth trajectory, Raymour & Flanigan recognized the need to rethink the way it runs its core business processes in order to keep up with an increasingly competitive retail landscape," said Sam Levy, senior VP of sales, Oracle NetSuite. “This year Raymour & Flanigan celebrates its 75th anniversary and with NetSuite providing a scalable and centralized business system, the Raymour & Flanigan team will be able to focus on delivering the best customer experience for years to come.”
Lovesac scales to $1 billion with optimized core business processes
Another furniture retailer, Lovesac, has scaled its operations to become a billion-dollar company while running on the Oracle NetSuite ERP solution. Deploying NetSuite, Lovesac has been able to deploy an integrated business platform at every stage of its growth to support new product lines, meet changing customer expectations, adapt its business and sales models, and transition to becoming a publicly traded company.
Lovesac utilizes NetSuite to optimize financial processes including financial planning, budgeting and reconciliation, as well as to help improve the accuracy of its bookkeeping. As Lovesac expands its product lines, NetSuite serves as the hub for its order management and inventory management functions.
Most recently, Lovesac helped support the debut of Mobile Concierge, a fully-equipped mobile showroom, with NetSuite functionality. Mobile Concierge provides customers a live demonstration on how its modular sofas work, and also enables consumers to check out features and design their own product setup.
