The QVC and HSN streaming services are expanding to another new platform.
Multiplatform video commerce provider Quarate Retail Inc. is launching its interactive streaming shopping service for its QVC and HSN banners on Vizio Smart TVs. This follows the September 2022 rollout of the two video commerce retailers on Samsung Smart TVs, among other smart TV platforms.
As a result, Vizio users have access to QVC and HSN's video commerce offering, with live, on-demand and streaming-only content together in one shoppable app. It is currently the first and only livestream shopping app on VIZIO that allows customers to complete purchases within the app, while combining multiple channels of live content with video on demand.
The QVC+ and HSN+ streaming experience combines QVC and HSN's five linear broadcast channels – QVC, QVC2, QVC3, HSN and HSN2, offering more than 50 hours a day of live video commerce content – with three digital-only linear channels (In the Kitchen, Fashion Finds and Outdoor Escape) and approximately 200 original, streaming-only show episodes.
To help Vizio users gain access to the QVC+ and HSN+ streaming app more easily, the app will have featured placement on the home page for the first three months following the launch.
QVC and HSN branch into new streaming platforms
This new partnership aligns with Qurate Retail’s Project Athens transformation strategy, announced in June 2022, to optimize its brand portfolio. June 2022, Qurate Retail also launched a web version of its interactive streaming shopping service for its QVC and HSN banners. Beyond its Samsung Smart TV partnership, the company has recently launched QVC as the first livestream shopping channel on FuboTV, and also offers its QVC and HSN linear channels on the Redbox Free Live TV streaming app.

The QVC+ and HSN+ streaming experience is available to more than 100 million internet-connected homes across the U.S. QVC and HSN reach more than 200 million homes globally via 14 linear TV channels, which are available on cable/satellite TV, free over-the-air TV, and digital livestreaming TV. QVC and HSN also reach millions of homes via websites, mobile apps, and social pages.
