As more states begin allowing non-essential businesses to re-open, Phillips Edison & Company has created a website to help tenants get going quickly at its 317 centers in the United States.
It has launched a program called PECO Connect, whose main entry is a website that presents educational webinars, programs for curbside pick-up and adding outdoor dining space, and digital tool kits with downloadable social media signage, grand opening banners, flyers, and coupons.
A Tenant Rewards program presents small businesses in their centers with credits to their accounts for accomplishing things like applying for small business loans through the CARES Act, reopening within 30 days after state removals of shutdowns, and using social media to tell how they are helping their communities.
“We refer to our tenants as our neighbors, and part of being a good neighbor is offering help and information during times of need,” said Jeff Edison, PECO’s chairman and CEO. “We will continue to maintain a regular dialogue with our neighbors, helping them reopen for business safely and quickly.”
