Paris Baguette revamps app, online ordering, rewards program

Paris Baguette relaunched its digital offerings.

Paris Baguette is upgrading its mobile, online and loyalty offerings.

The French-inspired bakery cafe franchise, which operates more than 160 locations in the U.S. and Canada with over 100 more in development and projects 1,000 bakery cafés in the U.S. by 2030, is rebooting its digital customer initiatives.

Following are highlights from Paris Baguette’s upgrades to its mobile app, e-commerce site and PB Rewards loyalty program.

Mobile app

Paris Baguette's mobile app relaunch brings several new features and perks, including:

  • Placing orders directly in the app for pick-up or delivery.
  • Completing challenges for exclusive offers and bonus points.
  • Storing gift cards in-app to use as payment or send a gift card to a friend.
  • Advance notice of what's new and upcoming at Paris Baguette
  • Viewing PB Rewards history at any time.

Online ordering

The retailer is leveraging technology from restaurant solutions provider Olo Inc. in an effort to streamline online ordering and payments. Customers can now seamlessly place online orders for menu items to pick up at their local café or have them delivered to their home.

PB Rewards

The relaunched PBRewards loyalty program lets customers bank one point for every $1 spent to use however they choose. PB Rewards members earn points on every online, mobile and in-store transaction, including online orders scheduled for pick up or delivery.

For in-store purchases, customers can present the QR code from the PB Rewards mobile app to automatically earn points. To automatically earn points for mobile and online purchases, customers must be logged into their PB Rewards account at checkout.

All new members of the revamped PB Rewards program get a free pastry with their first purchase. For those who join or update their existing app, there will also be a limited-time offer bank with deals on pastries and beverages.

Customers can download the new Paris Baguette mobile app to create an account and start earning points. Current rewards members can update or reinstall their existing app.

Founded in South Korea in 1988, Paris Baguette operates more than 4,000 units around the globe.
