Pacsun plots U.S. expansion; to open 20 to 35 new stores over next three years
At a time when many retailers are scaling back brick-and-mortar, Pacsun is expanding its retail footprint, announcing its first U.S. store count increase in nearly 20 years.
The apparel retailer, which operates approximately 300-plus stores, opened nine U.S. locations in 2025. Looking ahead, Pacsun plans to add 20 to 35 new stores over the next three years, with nine leases already signed for 2026 — marking its most ambitious domestic retail expansion in nearly two decades.
The expansion comes as the brand experiences a resurgence in brick-and-mortar performance in the United States, PacSun said, with double-digit growth in in-store traffic. The company is also expanding internationally. It will open the first international location in its 40-year history in spring 2026 at the Mall of the Emirates in Dubai.

Through an exclusive regional partnership, Majid Al Futtaim and Pacsun plan to open up to 20 stores across the Middle East during the next five years, including another flagship location in Abu Dhabi.
Pacun’s recent and upcoming U.S. store openings include its second location in New York City, in Manhattan’s Flatiron district, and a store in Westchester, N.Y. Both opened in fall 2025. In early 2026, the company will open at the Mall at Millenia in Orlando, Fla.
