Neiman Marcus Group names new CMO

Dallas Wanda Gierhart has been named senior VP and CMO at The Neiman Marcus Group. She will be responsible for marketing, market research, advertising, sales promotion and customer insight activities for Neiman Marcus Stores, Neiman Marcus Direct and Bergdorf Goodman.

Gierhart, who will begin her new role on Aug. 10, will report to Karen Katz, president and CEO of Neiman Marcus Stores and executive VP at The Neiman Marcus Group.

Previously, Gierhart was president and CEO at travel apparel and accessory cataloger TravelSmith.
