Nordstrom Rack opening three new stores — here’s where

Nordstrom Rack isn’t letting up on its expansion.

Nordstrom announced plans to open a 30,000-sq.-ft. Nordstrom Rack at Southlands in Aurora, Colo. The shopping center is owned and managed by M & J Wilkow. It is scheduled to open in fall 2023.

With the addition of the Aurora location, Nordstrom will operate eight Nordstrom Rack stores and two Nordstrom stores in Colorado.

Earlier this month, Nordstrom announced two additional Nordstrom Rack locations that are scheduled to open in fall 2023. The details are below.

• A 25,000-sq.-ft. Nordstrom Rack will open at Denton Crossing in Denton, Texas. The center is owned and managed by Kite Realty Group.  With the opening of the new location, Nordstrom will operate 20 Nordstrom Rack stores and 8 Nordstrom stores in Texas.

• A 23,000-sq.-ft. Nordstrom Rack will open at Pinole Vista Crossing, in Pinole, Calif. With the addition of the location, Nordstrom will operate 60 Nordstrom Rack stores, 23 Nordstrom stores, five Nordstrom Locals and one asos |Nordstrom in California.  

Other new Nordstrom Rack stores scheduled to open in fall 2023 include the following:

• Nordstrom Rack will open a 29,000-sq.-ft. store at The Village at Allen, Allen, Texas. The shopping center is owned and managed by DLC Management Corp.  

• Nordstrom Rack will open in San Luis Obispo, Calif. The 24,000-sq.-ft. store will be located at SLO Promenade, which is owned and managed by The Kroenke Group.

• Nordstrom Rack will open a 27,000-sq.-ft. store at Overland Crossing, Overland, Kan. The center is owned and managed by Legacy Development. 

• Nordstrom Rack will open a 31,000-sq.-ft. store at Best in the West, a shopping center in Las Vegas. 

In addition, Nordstrom Rack is expanding its footprint in California, with plans to open three locations next year. It is also opening three stores in the Pacific Northwest. It also has announced several spring 2023 openings.
