  • Fashion designer donates $5 million to NYC charity

    NEW YORK — Fashion designer Michael Kors has donated $5 million to God's Love We Deliver (God's Love), the New York-based non-profit organization that cooks and delivers individually tailored meals daily to people living with severe illnesses throughout New York City, Newark and Hudson County. This gift serves as one of the largest single donations to a social services organization in New York history. 

  • Black and Decker races into NASCAR sponsorship

    TOWSON, Md. — Black and Decker is partnering with Richard Petty Motorsports and NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Marcos Ambrose. The Black and Decker branded No. 9 Ford Fusion will race at four primary races: Kansas on Oct. 21, Martinsville on Oct. 28, Phoenix on Nov. 11 and Homestead-Miami on Nov. 18.

This growth has been driven by Hasbro expanding its U.K. and France licensing teams while at the same time opening new offices and further developing relationships with leading retailers in Russia, Germany, Poland, Turkey, and Spain over the past year.

    Uniqlo has made its West Coast, opening a three-story, 29,000-sq.-ft. flagship in San Francisco.

  • Duck Tape launches contest to find next print

    AVON, Ohio — Duck Tape brand duct tape is inviting consumers to design the next Duck Tape print for the chance to win $5,000 and have their design seen nationwide.

    Designs drawn by hand or with digital editing software are welcome, and entries must be created using one of the Duck Tape design templates found on the Facebook contest tab to be considered.

  • Deloitte: Consumer spending index rose in September

    New York -- Deloitte’s Consumer Spending Index rose in September, aided by a near 11% gain in home prices. The Index tracks consumer cash flow as an indicator of future consumer spending.
