Wumblers creator nominated for toy award

FORT LEE, N.J. Laura Wellington, creator of The Wumblers children's TV show and ceo of The Giddy Gander Company has been nominated in the Top Entrepreneur category for the 2008 Wonder Women of Toys Awards.

"Teaching children basic abc's and 123's is obviously important, but equally as important today is our need to nourish children with positive social lessons that reinforce and expand upon the value they see in themselves and others.  Our world is a global community and using fun entertainment to mentor children to successfully meet that reality, individually and together, is what The Wumblers is all about," said Wellington.
