Survey reveals millennials’ fave stores
New York -- A new survey reveals the favorite shopping destinations of millenial shoppers and what factors drive their purchases.
Zara, H&M and Urban Outfitters ranked as the favorite stores among millennials, according to a survey conducted by LIM College professors Robert Conrad, MBA and Kenneth M. Kambara, Ph.D. (LIM, based in Manhattan, is focused exclusively on the study of business and fashion.)
"Even though these stores remained fairly consistent in student rankings between 2013 and 2015, the brand DNA for each of them is, in one way or another, about appearing unique — which millennials find very appealing,” Kambara said.
The study, "Shopping Trends Among 18-25 Year-Olds," found that value is the main driver (85%) of purchases, along with customer satisfaction (75%) and (67%) uniqueness.
