Study: 10% of consumers are 'multi-channel' shoppers
NEW YORK A study by Experian Consumer Research found that nearly 10% of the U.S. population could be considered multi-channel shoppers. According to Experian, multi-channel shoppers are those people who regularly participate in more than one method of shopping, including online, in-store, catalog, and phone order.
According to Experian, these multi-channel shoppers are more likely to make informed buying decisions than other shoppers. They look for sales and research products before buying them.
