Stater Bros. revs up car show sponsorship

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. — Stater Bros. Supermarkets, which operates 167 stores in Southern California, announced that it will be thetitle sponsor of the largest car show on the West Coast as well as the largest Supermarket Chain sponsored event in America.


The Stater Bros. Route 66 Rendezvous will be held from Thursday, Sept. 15 through Sunday, Sept. 18 along the historic streets of downtown San Bernardino. This is the 15th straight year that Stater Bros. has been the title sponsor.


The 22nd Annual Stater Bros. Route 66 Rendezvous is expected to draw a record breaking attendance of over 500,000 car enthusiasts, and there will be 1,700 registered participants showcasing their classic cars, hot rods and custom vehicles, generating $44 million dollars for the local economy, according to the company.

Route 66 Rendezvous," stated Jack Brown, chairman of the board and CEO of Stater Bros. Supermarkets. "We are happy to give back to the many car enthusiasts in the communities we serve by sponsoring this free nostalgic weekend for the entire family to enjoy."
