Spanx prepares for growth with leadership changes
Recent executive leadership changes at Spanx have set the stage for change and a new phase of growth.
The company has promoted Jill MacRae to EVP, global commerce. MacRae began her career at Spanx in sales, and most recently lead all aspects of product and consumer marketing development as the VP of marketing.
In her new role, MacRae will provide strategic leadership across all business segments enabling Spanx to realize its full potential in the global wholesale marketplace with a heightened focus on the consumer, the experience and the service level.
The company is now searching for a new chief marketing officer and a supporting agency partner.
“Great product begins with great teams," said CEO Jan Singer. "Building a team that embraces the ‘why' and seeks deep insights is critical. As VP of marketing, Jill has been able to capture consumer insights through her passionate curiosity and translate them into emotional connections that help fuel the Spanx brand. As we move forward, I am excited to add another curious, consumer centric Executive who can lead the marketing teams on branding, equity and asset management, while creating aspirational experiences that support our global consumer."
