Saks celebrates fashion’s night out
NEW YORK, N.Y. Saks Fifth Avenue celebrated Fashion's Night Out, a global initiative supporting the fashion and retail industry, at their New York flagship on Thursday.
50 designers made appearances in the Fifth Avenue flagship, including Carolina Herrera, Christian Siriano, Elie Tahari, Bobbi Brown and William Rast's Trace Ayala and Justin Timberlake. Customers were able to shop for fall looks while receiving over 7,000 cosmetic giveaways, mini-makeovers and styling advice. The store sold out of the evening's Fashion's Night Out t-shirts that benefit National September 11 Memorial & Museum at the World Trade Center.
Other notable mentions of the evening include: Trace Ayala and Justin Timberlake celebrated their William Rast pop up shop, Donna Karan inaugurated her new shop on the second floor, magician Mark Mitton made Carolina Herrera mysteriously appear in her new shop on the third floor, Josie Natori shared her new fragrance, Bobbi Brown gave make-overs and beauty tips for fall, Aerin Lauder consulted with customers on her top beauty picks and Frederic Fekkai gave hair styling advice.
