Report: Topshop teams with Twitter for London Fashion Week

London – U.K.-based fashion retailer Topshop is teaming up with Twitter for an omnichannel promotion tied to London Fashion Week. Starting Friday, Feb. 20, the first day of London Fashion Week, Topshop will be analyzing Twitter trends to determine the real-time buzz around apparel and accessories being displayed on Fashion Week runways.



Topshop will then select the most popular fashions in real time and display them, along with corresponding products from Topshop’s assortment, on digital billboards in the English cities of London, Leeds, Birmingham, Manchester, and Liverpool, as well as Glasgow, Scotland.



Consumers will also be able to tweet trend hashtags to Topshop’s Twitter account and receive curated shopping lists related to that trend. Other omnichannel promotions Topshop is running for Fashion Week include live catwalk feeds at Topshop stores and promotional Vine videos.
