Report: Home Depot chief marketer resigns
ATLANTA Home Depot's chief marketing officer has resigned from the company, The Associated Press reported. Citing an internal memo released by company ceo Frank Blake, the AP reported that Roger Adams is leaving the company to pursue other opportunities.
According to the AP, Blake said Adams was instrumental in a number of projects while at Home Depot, including the company's partnership with the National Football League.
Adams joined Home Depot in February 2005 as senior vp of marketing, he became chief marketing officer in 2006. John Ross has reportedly been named interim marketing head.
