Report: Early Black Friday for Kmart

New York City Kmart is hoping to get an early start on holiday sales by holding some "Early Black Friday" sales this weekend, AdAge.com reported. Traditionally, Black Friday sales are held the day after Thanksgiving.

According to the report, Kmart, a division of Sears Holdings, will offer the deals exclusively in the home-electronics category, on about 15 items. But in a departure from traditional Black Friday sales, which typically involve heavily promoted limited quantities, the deals will be available for an entire week, with ample supplies in stock.
