Kimberly-Clark’s Cottonelle brand made its IndyCar debut this weekend, when it served as the primary sponsor of the number 10 Target Chip Ganassi Racing Honda Dallara car at the 2010 Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, Fla.. It was an inauspicious debut for the brand, which bills itself as a provider of innovative, comfort solutions for perineal personal care, as heavy rains on Sunday forced the race to be postponed until Monday morning. Cottonelle and other Kimberly-Clark brands will have additional opportunities to connect with race faces this year, as the company joined the Target racing program for the 2010 season and its brands will be featured on both the team’s IZOD IndyCar and NASCAR Sprint Cup Series cars. Other Kimberly-Clark brands include Kleenex, Scott, Huggies, Pull-Ups, Kotex and Depend.
