Phelps mom gets Chico's endorsement deal

FT. MYERS, Fla. Chico's has entered into an endorsement deal with Debbie Phelps, mother of 14-time gold medalist and swim sensation, Michael Phelps.

According to Chico's, Ms. Phelps wore the company's clothing while attending the Olympic Games in Beijing. The company took notice and approached her  about a partnership.

"As an educator, single mother and her son's biggest champion, Debbie has been an inspiration to us, and to our customers all over the world. We look forward to evolving the wonderful relationship we already have with Debbie," states Michele Cloutier, Chico's brand president.
