Norred gains new CPG and retail responsibilities
CROSSMARK veteran Jim Norred was named president of the sales and marketing services company’s Marketing Solutions Group.
Norred most recently served as EVP of corporate development with responsibility for client services, business development, insights and corporate marketing. Prior to that, he served as the company’s CIO. He also has served as president of G2, an integrated marketing joint venture that ultimately was acquired by WPP in 2008.
“In today’s omnichannel world, it’s critical to influence behavior across the entire spectrum of touch points,” said CROSSMARK CEO Ben Fischer said. “Jim has the experience to impact in-store and out-of-store through highly effective shopper engagement, brand activation and merchandising, as well as the ability to integrate the digital world to engage and influence shoppers along the path to loyalty.”
As president of the Marketing Solutions Group at CROSSMARK, Norred will oversee an organization focused on providing insight-driven marketing solutions to address the challenges that brands experience every day. The group’s capabilities include integrated engagement marketing expertise through Marketing Werks and PromoWorks, as well as Twin Oaks, a shopper marketing agency that is co-owned with MARS Advertising. In addition, CROSSMARK’s Insights team also falls under Norred’s leadership.
“Recognizing that everything we do is grounded in insights, we strive to lead the way to market with insights, to solve tangible business issues with and for our client partners,” Norred said. “We leverage these great insights to construct award winning solutions that deliver against strategic brand objectives.”
