Nike to launch sneaker destination for women, online and in brick-and-mortar

Nike is betting big on women.

The athletic footwear giant announced a series of initiatives aimed at women, including expanded unisex sizing on its classic Jordan styles and collaborative collections. In the fall, the new sizing will allow women to shop the brand’s iconic lines, including the Nike Air Force 1 and Air Max.

Also, Nike will launch a new sneaker destination for women, called Nike Unlaced, which will feature a curated selection of sneakers inclusive of expanded sizes, innovative performance styles and iconic collaborations. It will launch online on March 27, and in brick-and-mortar this summer.

The new concept will include an array of customer services, from personalized styling to VIP member experiences (including same-day delivery and exclusive hours). Members will have the opportunity to arrange one-on-one appointments with guest stylists and take their selections home in special packaging.
