Mondays get greener at Sears in April

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. Sears is offering its customers an additional 10% off Kenmore Elite ENERGY STAR-qualified appliances -- on top of existing promotional prices each Monday throughout the month of April.

"We've listened to our customers, who are under pressure in society to make a green choice," said Kevin Brown, VP and chief marketing officer of home appliances for Sears Holdings. "At the same time, our customers face increasing economic pressures. Choosing energy-efficient appliances makes financial sense because of the significant savings in both water and energy," Brown added. "Green Mondays make it easier to make a green choice with the nation's number one brand of energy-efficient appliances - Kenmore.
