McDonald’s April sales up 4.9%, beating Street
Oak Brook, Ill. McDonald’s Corp. said Tuesday that April sales rose 4.9%, just topping analysts’ estimates, helped by growth in Europe and Australia.
U.S. same-store sales rose 3.8%, and climbed 5.3% in Europe and 3.9% in Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
Wall Street expected U.S. sales to rise 3.8%, with a 3.5% rise in Europe and a 5% increase in Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
