Kathryn Kerrigan launches ShoeTube

CHICAGO Kathryn Kerrigan has introduced ShoeTube. ShoeTube allows women to “Try Before They Buy” a pair of shoes, at no cost, and it is exclusively at www.kathrynkerrigan.com.

Once a customer selects her shoe choice the email is sent to Kathryn Kerrigan and a ShoeTube – literally a colorful tube – is sent out with one shoe from the pair the customer is interested in. The customer gives a credit card but it is not purchased unless they want to buy the pair or if they don’t return the shoe within two weeks. If the shoe is not what the customer is interested in, it can be returned for free through the pre-paid shipping label included in the ShoeTube and another can be sent out.

"My shoes go through 40-80 different crafters as they are hand-made in Italy and Spain, so I have very high standards for them," said Kerrigan. "But also I’m a consumer, and I don’t like buying anything that doesn’t fit exactly right and that’s one of the trappings of purchasing online, so that’s why I developed ShoeTube. Now women can try on any style of shoe they are interested in before they buy it, and with literally no cost to them for doing it."
