Favreau to promote indie films on Amazon

SEATTLE Actor, director and producer, Jon Favreau has signed on as the first Independent Voices curator for Amazon.com's new Indie & Art House store at www.amazon.com/indies.

According to Amazon.com, the independent film store is a place where filmmakers and indie aficionados can preview, review and discuss independent works as well as gain insight into what’s hot now in the indie and art house movie world.

“I’m excited to be a part of Amazon Independent Voices and to have the opportunity to shine the spotlight on well-deserving indie films,” said Jon Favreau. “It’s always a challenge for small films to connect with fans and moviegoers, but with the help of programs like Independent Voices we can make a difference and help generate excitement around these special movies.”
