Emilio Estefan brings Latin flare to Target

MINNEAPOLIS — Emilio Estefan, the Grammy Award-winning music producer and husband to Gloria Estefan, is working with Target in a unique partnership that will the retailer appeal to the Latin community in key markets.



According to Target, Estefan will work closely with the company to curate a special selection of his favorite music, movies and books titled “Emilio Estefan’s Picks” that will available at select stores beginning June 6. Target will also leverage Estefan's close ties with Latin artists to develop exclusive music deals.


“Emilio is an icon in both the music industry and the Hispanic community. This partnership allows Target to bring our guests an entertainment selection that’s been hand-picked by this legendary producer,” said John Butcher, VP entertainment at Target. “We know our guests love shopping at Target for Latin music, and our partnership with Emilio adds a new and interesting dimension to our current offerings.”


Estefan is the man behind Miami Sound Machine, the group that launched the career of his wife, and has helped shaped the career of such artists as Shakira, Ricky Martin, Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez. He has received 30 Grammy nominations and 19 Grammy Awards.
