Dollar General opens doors on Thanksgiving to lure eager holiday shoppers

GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. Dollar General is getting a head-start on the Thanksgiving shopping weekend by opening its doors on Thanksgiving Day at 7 a.m.

“We know saving time and money is important to our customers, especially around the holidays,” said Rick Dreiling, Dollar General’s chairman and CEO. “We’re pleased to offer our customers three days of special bargains to help them stretch their budgets even farther this holiday season.”

 

On Thanksgiving Day, all Dollar General stores will be open until 6 p.m. During that time, the retailer is offering special one-day-only deals including, 100-count Christmas lights for $1, a Conair Gel Grips hair dryer for $5 and a DVD player for $20.
