Customized tees let Gap customers express views

SAN FRANCISCO Gap has announced that it has taken its "Vote for _____" campaign to its stores and online, enabling customers to create a customized t-shirt proclaiming which candidate or issue they are passionate about. The shirt costs $15 and is available while supplies last.

Customers in New York City can visit Gap's flagship store on 5th Ave to create a customized tee using the "Vote for" t-shirt generator.

"At the heart of the campaign is our 'Vote for _____.' t-shirt, which we believe is a unique platform to let Americans express their opinions this election season," said Ivy Ross, evp of Gap marketing. "Gap has always stood for individuality and we're looking forward to seeing how people across the country capture the issues that are important to them right now."
