The Children’s Place plans new credit card offering
Specialty apparel retailer The Children’s Place Inc. is partnering with marketing and loyalty solutions provider Alliance Data Systems Corp. to launch a new private label credit card.
Alliance Data will develop and deliver a tailored credit card program that is designed to leverage proprietary data-driven insights and complement The Children's Place's existing multi-tender loyalty program. Under the agreement, Alliance Data will purchase the existing The Children's Place private label credit card portfolio, with the closing expected in the fourth quarter of 2016.

Based in Secaucus, N.J., The Children’s Place operates 1,064 stores in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico.
