CBRE arranges sale of White Bear Marketplace
Minneapolis -- CBRE’s Capital Markets Investment Properties Group announced it has arranged the sale of White Bear Marketplace, located in St. Paul Minnesota, on behalf of its client, Oppidan Investment Company. CBRE’s SVP Jim Leary and senior associate Jeff Budish represented Oppidan Investment Company in the transaction.
Cub Foods, Planet Fitness, Northern Tool and Starbucks co-anchor the newly constructed retail center. Excelsior, Minnesota-based Oppidan Investment Company developed the 118,627-sq. ft. center on a site previously occupied by Kmart. The 61,000-sq. ft. Cub Foods store is the first store built by Cub since 2008 and incorporates state-of-the-art services, products and amenities designed to enhance the customer experience.
“The sale is emblematic of robust U.S. capital markets conditions. Investor interest in high-quality, well-located, grocery-anchored retail continues to be very strong,” stated Leary.
