Bounty cleans up at Rose Bowl
CINCINNATI — Bounty touted the absorbency and strength of each small sheet of Select-A-Size paper towels at the 2013 Rose Bowl Game’s VIP Tailgate.
The VIP Tailgate was the second stop on the Bounty Select-A-Size Tour for the event’s presenting sponsor. Bounty and Adam Richman, who gained notoriety for consuming large amounts of food on the Travel Channel show “Man Vs. Food,” held a “Tastiest Tailgate Mess” contest. The contest pitted Wisconsin Badgers fans Chao Qi and Valerie Alexander and their tailgate dish of brats and cheese curds against Cardinals fan Nancy Valenzuela and her tailgate dish of rib eye tacos with salsa and guacamole. Richman and a panel of judges crowned Chao Qi and Valerie Alexander the winners.
“Between the chili, nachos and hotdogs, the Rose Bowl Game is undoubtedly the messiest stop on our Select-A-Size tour,” said Adam Richman.
“The Rose Bowl Game is the perfect example of a notoriously messy event on the Select-A-Size tour,” said Laura Dressman, communications manager for Bounty Paper Towels. “At each of these stops, we are demonstrating how Select-A-Size can truly tackle anything and proving that you can use less so that each roll goes even further.”
As part of the Select-A-Size Tour, Bounty also launched a Fan of the Week Program on Facebook to recognize their Select-A-Size loyalists. Each week, Bounty fans can submit photos showing how one small sheet of SAS helps them tackle their biggest messes for a chance to be featured on the Bounty cover photo and win a year supply of SAS.
