'Bizarre Foods' host teams with SuperTarget
MINNEAPOLIS Andrew Zimmern, star of Travel Channel's "Bizarre Foods," show has teamed up with Target to help SuperTarget customers develop easy, imaginative meals for their families, Target announced. Zimmern will serve as the SuperTarget meal adventure guide, aiding shoppers on how to use products found at SuperTarget to create unique meals at home.
"I couldn't be more excited about this partnership! When I'm not dining with indigenous people in the Amazon, or exploring markets in far-away places, I have the same challenge as most American families -- getting healthy, good tasting food on the dinner table in under 30 minutes. SuperTarget is a phenomenal resource, and people need not travel half-way around the world to be an adventurous diner," said Zimmern.
Zimmern's inspiring ideas also will feature a number of fresh ingredients available at SuperTarget found within the deli, dairy, and bakery departments, as well the certified organic produce department, which is certified to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) National Organic standards. Guests will experience Zimmern's inspiring ideas through tip cards found at SuperTarget stores and online at Target.com beginning in July.
