Minneapolis Best Buy Co. is gearing up to offer a video-on-demand service to its Reward Zone Premium Silver members. Best Buy made the announcement via a message on its Twitter account.

Premium Silver Reward zone members will get one free movie rental each month.
The announcement comes months after the company said it would launch an online movie store that will compete with Apple's iTunes.
Wal-Mart Stores also has recently launched a bid to enter the online video market. In February, it bought Vudu, a video-streaming technology company.
