Best Buy gives back with 8th Toys for Teens
MINNEAPOLIS Best Buy has announced that its eighth annual Toys for Teens campaign is under way. The campaign was launched by Best Buy in 2001 in collaboration with the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots Foundation. To date, Best Buy, together with its partners and customers, has raised more than $3.8 million to benefit older children across the United States.
"Best Buy is proud to once again support the Toys for Teens program," said Paula Prahl, vp of public affairs. "In partnership with the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, our customers and communities, we look forward to making the holidays brighter for older children in need."
Best Buy customers can contribute to the campaign with a donation of the value of REWARD ZONE program points to Toys for Teens (through Dec. 27) or by making a monetary donation at one of more than 900 Best Buy locations or online at www.BestBuy.com/ToysforTeens.
The Best Buy Children’s Foundation also has made a donation of $250,000 to the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation.
