American Eagle to sponsor events for Child Abuse Prevention Month

PITTSBURGH -- KidsVoice, an organization which advocates for abused, neglected and at-risk children, announced that American Eagle Outfitters will be the presenting sponsor for its events during Child Abuse Prevention Month, which include Kitetails & Cocktails on April 28 and Kites for Kids on April 30. Both events will take placeat the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium.

“Having American Eagle Outfitters as the presenting sponsor, as well as the company’s chief financial officer Joan Hilson as a board member and event co-chair has taken these events to a new level,” says Scott Hollander, KidsVoice executive director. “Challenging kids to think about the KidsVoice mission and express their creativity to compete for a $5,000 educational scholarship is an exciting new component that increases community engagement and support.”
