Amazon.com launches Black Friday Deals site

SEATTLE Amazon.com is going to head-to-head with brick-and-mortar stores, announcing the launch of its Black Friday Deals page at www.amazon.com/blackfriday.

According to the company, the Black Friday page offers infortmation on Amazon.com's Black Friday Deals Week offered now through Nov. 30. On the site, customers will find limited time Lightning Deals with doorbuster-level discounts. In addition, the Black Friday Deals page will offer special sales beginning on Nov. 29 for Cyber Monday.

“In addition to offering customers exclusive Amazon.com deals on a wide range of products throughout all of our categories, we’re doing even more,” said Paul Ryder, Amazon.com VP electronics. “We’re searching for the best Black Friday deals everywhere, and we are working hard to meet or beat the lowest prices out there. We want our customers to know that when they come to Amazon.com, they are getting competitive prices during the holiday shopping season and year-round.”
