Accessorize: Diaper Bags

When mom and dad are shopping for clothes for their baby or infant, chances are they might be looking for a way to carry all of baby’s gear in a handy, yet stylish, way. In fact, a number of diaper bags out on the market, such as Amy Coe’s Henrietta tote sold at Target, resemble handbags more than they do diaper bags. Likewise, high-end bag manufacturers, such as Kate Spade and Coach, also make diaper bags that could easily double for a larger handbag or bigger tote purse.

Still other diaper bags (more geared towards dads) are more functional in nature, resembling messenger bags. These bags, such as an Eddie Bauer design sold at Babies “R” Us, come in solid colors or basic patterns.

Some parents prefer diaper bags that have traditional baby or licensed characters on them, or ones that match their baby’s clothing, strollers, car seats and so on.
