    Basketball season is just now getting underway but next spring when top high school teams square off at a tournament in New York Dick’s Sporting Goods will be there as title sponsor of the event.

    For the second consecutive year, Dicks will serve as title sponsor of the event to be held April 2-4, 2015 and televised on ESPN networks.

  • J. Crew tops in online customer service

    New York — J. Crew provided the best overall online customer service in October, marking the retailer’s third time topping the Stella Benchmarks rankings from StellaService in 2014. The retailer ranked 4th in phone, second in email, eighth in shipping and 17th in returns.
      Stella Benchmarks includes 138 companies evaluated on a daily basis by StellaService. Customer care channels, phone, email and chat, are measured daily, while fulfillment metrics are measured across multiple orders each month.

    Fort Myers, Fla. – Chico’s FAS Inc. reported a net loss of $28.5 million in the third quarter of fiscal 2014, compared to net income of $35.8 million in the third quarter of the previous fiscal year and below Wall Street predictions.
  • Weather Trends: December 2014

    Temperatures are forecast to trend warmer than last year for the U.S. as a whole. However, the Southeast may see some cooler trends compared to last year. There is high confidence that the Great Lakes, New England, and South Central states will trend warmer than last year. Onshore flow in the West will bring milder and wetter weather to the region.  A more pronounced flow of moisture will bring more snow to the West Coast mountain ranges. At least one storm will eject out of the southern Rocky Mountains spreading a swath of snow from New Mexico to the Great Lakes and New England.
