1800Mattress.com launches photo contest site

HICKSVILLE, N.Y. Mattress retailer 1800Mattress.com has launched a photo contest website to encourage customers to snap photos of people sleeping in public.

Visitors to the website, www.BeenCaughtSleeping.com, can vote on the submitted photos. The top three pictures with the most votes will receive prizes, with the first place winner earning a $100 gift card.

Adam Blank, COO of 1800Mattress.com is excited about the new site and said that while 1800Mattress.com is "providing the platform, the public is providing the content."  Launched the beginning of July, BeenCaughtSleeping.com has quickly grown in popularity.  Blank said that within four days of the site going live, BeenCaughtSleeping.com "had over 10,000 visitors and its traffic continues to exceed our expectations, growing over 2,000% each week."
