New art walk at Butler Town Center to come alive in 3D

Leon Keer, a world-renowned Dutch artist specializing in 3D street art, is creating a mural for Butler Town Center, in Gainesville, Fla. – and guests won’t believe their eyes.

Keer’s anamorphic artwork will have visitors doing double takes as they stroll through the center. He has been showcased all over the world and is one of the only artists in the world to paint in this 3D, 4D, or AR-style.

“I have traveled all over the world experiencing art and how it relates to, inspires, and influences a local culture, and adding this art walk to Butler has always been a dream of mine,’ said Deborah Butler, president of Butler Enterprises. “It will only further enhance our shopper’s own experiences at Butler in a fun and interesting way.”

The art walk experience, Butler’s brainchild, will feature art by local and national artists on various walls and surfaces in and around the new Butler Town Center shopping district.

Keer’s work will be located on the north side wall of Joann Fabric Store facing Windmeadows Boulevard. Those interested can watch the artist in action. Visit Butler’s social media pages @ShopatButler for details and timing.
