Strack & Van Til is automating manual processes for fresh food operations, including produce, meat, deli, and dairy.

The Indiana-based grocery has selected the Invafresh Fresh Retail platform for scale and recipe management. Leveraging this solution, Strack & Van Til will help ensure pricing accuracy, identify opportunities for margin growth, and provide a heightened in-store customer experience, Strack and Van Til required a robust solution capable of automating manual processes.

In addition, the grocer will use the Invafresh recipe management solution to centralize the creation, storage, and management of all recipes for retail products produced in-store.

Strack & Van Til leverages AI for digital coupons

Strack & Van Til is also enhancing digital coupon redemption and rewards with real-time transaction data. The retailer is utilizing an integration of the Birdzi Customer Intelligence Platform and LOC Software POS solution to obtain real-time transaction data to support automatic coupon selection that is specific to the needs of each individual shopper.

Through the integration, information can flow freely from Strack & Van Til’s LOC Software POS system to its Birdzi customer intelligence platform. As a result, customers receive highly ersonalized promotions that the grocer hopes will further develop its relationship with its shoppers.

Headquartered in Highland, Ind., Strack & Van Til operates 22 stores in Northwest Indiana under the Strack & Van Til and Town & Country Food Market banners.
