  • Kurt Webb is new GM at The Shops at Mission Viejo

    Mission Viejo, Calif. — The Shops at Mission Viejo, a Simon Property Group property in Mission Viejo, California, has welcomed Kurt Webb as the new general manager. Webb began working with the center in mid-April and recently relocated to the region. He came on full time as of June 1.

    Webb will be responsible for local leasing, tenant relations, building operations, security and marketing efforts. Additionally, he will act as a key liaison for various community and strategic organizations.

  • PAI partners with credit union on ATM branding deal

    Payment Alliance International (PAI), a leading retail ATM solutions company, and OnPoint Community Credit Union have entered into an agreement to brand ATMs at all 72 Rite Aid pharmacies in Oregon.

    PAI will own and operate the ATMs, which will be outfitted with OnPoint Community Credit Union’s branding. OnPoint members will have surcharge-free access to cash at Oregon Rite Aid pharmacies beginning July.

  • Micros, Elavon partner on integrated payment solution

    Columbia, Md. - Micros Systems Inc. and global payments provider Elavon have integrated their respective gateway and security products to deliver encryption and tokenization for the food and beverage industry, facilitating a secure environment throughout the payment transaction cycle. Integration has been provided for the Micros Payment Gateway and Elavon's Fusebox gateway solution.

    Benefits of the integration include streamlined PCI compliance, as well as consolidation of multiple interfaces and certifications for electronic payment processing.

  • Dollar General seeks new CEO

    The Rick Dreiling era is coming to an end at Dollar General as the chairman and CEO announced plans to retire next year, initiating a search internally and externally for a successor.

  • Finish Line delivers in first quarter

    The Finish Line is off to a strong start in fiscal 2015, according to chairman and CEO Glenn Lyon, who credited the company’s omnichannel efforts for its first-quarter success.

    The company reported consolidated net sales of $406.5 million, an increase of 15.8% over the prior year period. Comparable store sales increased 5%.

  • Schnuck Markets names CIO

    St. Louis -- Schnuck Markets announced that Robert Hardester has been appointed the company's new CIO. Hardester succeeds Mark Zimmerman, who recently announced that he would be leaving the company.

    Hardester most recently served as a VP corporate systems at Express Scripts, where he was responsible for application development. He previously held the position of CIO at Furniture Brands International and at General Electric.
