Dallas -- RadioShack Corp. said Monday that it plans to sell $300 million in debt that will come due in 2019.

The retailer said it plans to use the proceeds from the sale of the senior notes for general corporate purposes, which may include stock buybacks.

New York City -- Ikea announced that its 415,000-sq.-ft. store in Centennial, Col., will open on July 27.

“The excellent construction progress made this past fall and winter by Saunders Construction and the subcontractors -- as well as professional and timely reviews by local authorities -- created an opportunity for us to open much earlier than originally envisioned,” said Ikea project construction manager Doug Wolfe.

Reflecting the brand tagline, “Never Stop Exploring,” the new global prototype of The North Face is meant to inspire customers to get outside and experience the great outdoors. Designed by Gensler, the store has a sleek, streamlined modern look and is composed of natural elements and textures. Trail markers, built of wood, stone and metal, distinguish the retailer’s core categories: outdoor, action sports and performance.

New York City -- Chain Store Age will present a Webinar on Tuesday, April 26, at 2 p.m. EST (11 a.m. Pacific) that will include results of its exclusive survey on how retailers are using business intelligence tools.

San Francisco -- 5th Finger, a leading mobile marketing technology firm, has announced plans to bring in-store mobile trials to JoS. A. Bank Clothiers. 5th Finger will be testing the role of the mobile device to drive "consumer outcomes" including ensemble inspiration, shopper education and offer redemption "in store" leading up to the summer season.

Naperville, Ill. -- OfficeMax announced that Michael J. Lewis will assume the role of executive VP and president of retail, effective May 2. He will have full responsibility for the retail P&L and all aspects of the retail business, including merchandising, store operations and real estate.

Mooresville, N.C. -- Lowe’s will rebuild its store in Sanford, N.C., that was demolished by a tornado April 16, the company announced Thursday.

Lowe’s will tear down what is left of the remaining building, which has been condemned, and build a new facility on the site, said company spokeswoman Karen Cobb. The chain hopes to re-open the store this fall.

New York  City -- Three Stop & Shop stores in the Boston area on Monday will launch a software app from ModivMedia that allow customers with iPhones to scan grocery items and add them to an electronic shopping cart, The Boston Globe reported.
