  • Dick’s Sporting Goods launches mobile app

    Pittsburgh -- Dick’s Sporting Goods said Thursday it has launched a new mobile application for iPhone and Android smartphones.

    The new app gives users access to Dick’s ScoreCard rewards program, along with location services, social networking and mobile shopping capabilities. It also features built-in barcode scanner functionality, allowing shoppers to scan product and marketing QR codes in-store and access information including product description, news, price and user reviews.

  • Aisle411 acquires WILocator Indoor Location Positioning Technologies

    Palo Alto, Calif. – Aisle411, a mobile retail navigation service, announced the acquisition of WiLocate’s technology assets to provide precise indoor positioning information, expanding Aisle411’s in-store search and navigation offering. As part of the deal, Aisle411 has also acquired multiple patents pending.

    South Plainfield, N.J. -- Charter Realty said it has been selected to lease Oak Park Commons located in South Plainfield, N.J.
     
    The single-story, 136,939-sq.-ft. community shopping center is anchored by A&P Supermarket in 60,025 sq. ft. and includes a mix of national, regional and local tenants.
     
    Oak Park Commons is currently 76% occupied with 33,508 sq. ft. of available space.

    SINGAPORE and ATLANTA — RedPrairie, a global supply chain and retail technology provider, announced that Adidas, a global leader in state-of-the-art sports footwear, apparel and accessories, has gone live with RedPrairie Workforce Management (WFM) at its Singapore retail locations. Adidas will leverage RedPrairie WFM to increase employee productivity and optimize scheduling to help adidas deliver optimal customer service to Singapore consumers.

  • New tenant to open at Four Corners Shopping Center

    Tomball, Texas -- Houston-based Baker Katz, an X Team International partner, announced that Spec’s Wines, Spirits and Finer Foods is the newest tenant to sign a lease at Four Corners Shopping Center in Tomball, Texas. Spec’s will open a 22,000-sq.-ft. store.
