    Toronto – Loblaw Companies Ltd. has selected the SAP Store Device Control by GK software solution marketed by SAP. This product offers the infrastructure to control stores in an omnichannel commerce architecture.

    GK Software US Inc. will handle the implementation of the software in this project.

  • Former Blue Nile exec joins fast-growing omnichannel beauty brand Julep

    Omnichannel beauty brand Julep has tapped former Blue Nile executive Dwight Gaston as chief delivery officer. In his new role, Gaston will oversee Julep's operations, customer service, fulfillment and product development teams to ensure efficient delivery of products to its customers.

    The company develops more than 300 new products each year for its Maven subscribers and e-commerce customers, and shipments are growing exponentially, it said.

    Boston -- Swirl Networks, provider of an enterprise-class beacon marketing platform, announced that it has entered into a strategic relationship with Motorola Solutions. The two companies will work together in the areas of product, sales and services to support iBeacon technology rollouts in large-scale retail environments.

    This announcement follows the recent unveiling of Motorola's MPact Platform for Mobile Marketing, which leverages Swirl to power the beacon marketing capabilities for its indoor locationing platform.
