J.C. Penney posts Q4 loss of $87 million amid restructuring, revamp charges
Dallas -- J.C. Penney Co. swung to a loss of $87 million in the fourth-quarter, compared with a profit of $271 million in the year-ago period. The chain’s results were dragged down by restructuring and management transition charges, as well as costs tied to its new pricing strategy.

Dillard's delivers in Q4
LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas — Dillard's ended its fiscal year with higher income and increased sales, and heads into 2012 on the heels of a record-setting performance.
The company reported income for the fourth quarter ended Jan. 28 of $141.5 million, or $2.77 per share. For the prior year fourth quarter, Dillard's reported net income of $109.6 million, or $1.75 per share.
